I have to admit I was entertained. My eyes never left the stage. Throughout the piece I awaited what would come next. I took alot of notes and realized in refering back to them that the performance looped with the changing of clothes and the wispering narrative. The dancing I noticed did not match the verbal analog. And also the use of the mic by Jeremy did not match the words of the audio all of the time. As far as the cartoons I liked when the ghost flew up to the tops of the trees and the images flowed/followed/traveled.
As far as the media employed I found the video went from animation to "humorous" and surreal stills and/or photograph. The use of lighting was also incorparated with spot-lighting,color, and movement. The moving rainbow that crossed the set seemed very retro. Jeremy also interacted with the cartooning and pretended to conversate with the speaker vioce. Worldly topics were touched upon and some of the images were of popular culture. At times sounds generated from the speaker and at one point drowned out the spoken text.
I feel the performance was very effective, more visually than conceptually. The visual aesthetic was strong but what the work was trying to say I find unclear. The piece was controled and well displayed with a a huge amount of visual material. Artistic candy beaming/ booming for the viewer's eyes and ears. The piece speaks for itself and the language is easy enough to grasp. The essence was mixed with a chaotic blend of the arts and was what the viewer finds a good source of multi-media
